Andrew Granquist, BS

Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of La Crosse, Wisconsin. 

As an experienced mental health professional, Andrew has over 17 years of progressive experience supporting children, adolescent, and adult patients in residential, acute inpatient, and intensive outpatient psychiatric settings. He is known for his expertise in crisis intervention, milieu management, and de-escalation, along with a strong ability to create safe, structured, and therapeutic environments for diverse and high-risk populations. 

Andrew takes a client-centered, safety-first approach grounded in empathy, structure, and accountability. He is known for remaining calm under pressure, making quick and thoughtful decisions in crisis situations, and creating environments where patients feel supported while maintaining clear behavioral expectations. He is also passionate about developing others—regularly training and mentoring others to build capability, confidence, and consistency. Grounded in a growth mindset, Andrew believes every experience offers a valuable opportunity for development and learning. 

Outside of work, Andrew values quality time with his family and friends. An avid host, he enjoys cooking elaborate meals and gathering people together for a good game night.
