She has worked with a diverse range of clients, including first responders. Kelly is passionate about presenting at local community events and trainings, believing that sharing knowledge and expertise in behavioral health is essential to reducing stigma and fostering greater understanding of behavioral health and substance use challenges.
Kelly is a certified CCS provider, offering service facilitation, skill development, individual and family psychoeducation, and psychotherapy. She approaches therapy from a strengths-based perspective, believing that all clients possess unique abilities to navigate and overcome life’s challenges. Kelly genuinely enjoys supporting her clients throughout their therapeutic journeys. She incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients achieve their goals. Additionally, Kelly is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner-In-Training (SEP-IT). Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-focused therapy that helps individuals heal trauma and stress-related disorders by increasing awareness of bodily sensations, releasing stored tension, and regulating the nervous system. This approach promotes balance, resilience, and emotional well-being through mindful connection to the body.
Outside of her professional life, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cat. She likes reading books, watching documentaries, traveling, going to the gym, and occasionally attending hot yoga classes.
