Ksyusha Sokolova, MS
Ksyusha holds a Master of Science in General Psychology from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Marian University. She has specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for children and adolescents, Motivational Interviewing, Applied Behavior Analysis and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI). Ksyusha is trilingual - as she is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian , allowing her to support diverse populations with culturally responsive care.
Ksyusha is a dedicated mental health professional with over 13 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in hospital, community, and behavioral health settings. Ksyusha currently serves as a Service Facilitator and Array Provider at Amethyst Wellness and has been supporting individuals within the CCS network since 2021. She has experience working with individuals with disabilities as well as those navigating severe and persistent mental health and substance use challenges.
Ksyusha brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to her work and specializes in trauma-informed care. She has extensive experience in case management, service coordination, crisis intervention, and psychosocial education, and enjoys helping individuals and families build practical skills, strengthen support systems, and move toward greater stability and independence. Ksyusha values collaboration and works closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized plans that promote stability, resilience, and independence.
Previously, Ksyusha worked at UnityPoint Health – Meriter Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Hospital, where she helped facilitate groups and provided support for youth experiencing acute mental health challenges. She also spent many years, supervising staff and implementing behavioral intervention programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. Her background also includes youth mental health services, providing her with a strong foundation in advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and client-centered care.
Outside of work, Ksyusha enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog. In her free time, she enjoys bird watching, playing and watching sports, building LEGO sets, reading, and collecting Pokémon cards.
